Getting started
How does PhotosAI work?
You upload 10–20 casual selfies. We fine-tune a personal AI model on your face in about 5 minutes. Then you can generate professional photos of yourself in any style — LinkedIn headshots, dating profiles, travel shots, and more.
What kind of selfies should I upload?
Everyday phone photos work best. Use a mix of angles, lighting conditions, and outfits. Avoid heavy filters, sunglasses, or photos where your face is partially covered. Variety is more important than quality.
How many selfies do I need?
Between 10 and 20. Under 10 and the model won't capture enough detail. Over 20 doesn't meaningfully improve results. 15 varied photos is the sweet spot.
How long does training take?
About 5 minutes. You'll get an email when your model is ready. You can close the tab — training runs in the background.
Photo quality
Will the photos actually look like me?
Yes — that's the core of what we do. Unlike generic AI portrait tools, PhotosAI trains on your specific face. The result captures your bone structure, skin tone, and features rather than generating a generic attractive person.
What resolution are the photos?
Photos are generated at high resolution and are suitable for printing, LinkedIn, dating apps, and social media. You can download the original files directly.
Can I request specific styles not in the packs?
Yes. On the Generate page you can write any custom prompt alongside your trained model — put yourself in any scene, outfit, or setting you can describe.
What if I don't like the results?
Just generate again. Each generation produces a different result. You can also try a different photo pack or tweak your prompt. Credits are only used when a photo is successfully generated.
Privacy & data
What happens to my selfies?
Your photos are used solely to train your personal AI model. They are stored securely and never used to train shared models or shown to other users.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete your AI model, your training photos, and your generated photos at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes all associated data permanently.
Who can see my generated photos?
Only you. Your gallery is private and not shared with anyone unless you choose to download and share the photos yourself.
Billing & plans
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Your 2-day free trial starts immediately with no credit card required. You'll only be asked for payment details if you decide to continue after the trial.
What counts as one credit?
Each photo generated costs 1 credit — whether it's from a photo pack or a custom prompt.
What happens when my credits run out?
Generation pauses until your credits renew at the start of your next billing cycle. You can upgrade to Pro at any time for more credits.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. You keep access until the end of your current billing period with no cancellation fees.
Can I use my photos commercially?
Yes. All photos you generate are yours to use however you like, including for commercial purposes.
